Polina Rendak

Polina Rendak was born in the northern Russian city of Petrozavodsk. At home everyone played the piano, and Polina was no exception. She did not stop playing when she moved to Moscow to study economics at Higher School of Economics, and then - to Paris to study finance at HEC Paris. Currently, Polina works in development finance in London focusing on energy transition and infrastructure investments in emerging markets.

Being an amateur pianist, Polina was a prize winner in the "Claviarium" and "Piano Bridges" competitions for amateur pianists in solo and duo nominations (with Mikhail Dubov). She has participated in the "Les Amateurs virtuoses!" festival multiple times since 2012 in France, Germany, Russia, and South Africa.
