
Pauline Kempf
Born in 1990, Pauline Kempf started studying violin at the Maurice Ravel Conservatory of Music of Paris with Larissa Kolos and then of Saskia Lethiec.
She graduated in violin from the Versailles CRR (Conservatoire à Rayonnement Régional) and later graduated in music theory from the Paris CRR.
She then studied in Switzerland at the University of Genève in the class of Stefan Muhmenthaler. She got her Bachelor of violin in June 2012.
During those years, she had opportunities to take part in many masterclasses : Jean-Pierre Wallez, Mihaela Martin, Laurent Korcia, Alexandre Dubach and Dashin Kashimoto. She also experienced playing in an orchestra, directed by Emmanuel Krivine and Kazuki Yamada.
She is currently taking her Master of violin and string quartet in the University of Vienna in the class of Peter Schuhmayer (Artis Quartett).
In 2009 she founded the Leggio Quartet. The quartet has been lucky to study under the supervision of Jacques Borsarello, Yaïr Benaïm, Jean-Claude Bouveresse and the Debussy Quartet
