
Iona Luke
Iona Luke works as a corporate legal counsel specialising in financial services, regulatory, insurance and corporate advisory. She holds a Bachelor of Laws and a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of New South Wales. She also holds a Masters in Information Technology from the University of Technology Sydney. Prior to her role as in-house corporate legal counsel, Iona spent six years as a commercial lawyer in private legal practice, followed by two years as a systems analyst in the technology department of the company she currently works at.
Iona studied music through private lessons from age 6, until she took a break from playing the piano during law school to focus on studies and work. She resumed taking piano lessons in 2008. Iona passed the Fellowship exam in piano performance through the Trinity College London overseas examination board system in 2009. Iona was an honourable mention prize winner at the Second International Fryderyk Chopin Piano Competition for Amateur Pianists in Warsaw 2012.
