Christine Kevenhörster

Christine Kevenhörster grew up in a musical family in Ruhrgebiet/Germany and learned piano and clarinet. She studied Music pedagogy and clarinet at the Musikhochschule Freiburg/Brsg. and Universität der Künste Berlin, among others with François Benda. She then studied medicine at Freie Universität Berlin, at the Faculté de Médecine Pitié-Salpêtrière in Paris and at Charité Berlin. Besides she also worked as a music teacher and as a stage musician, among others at Berliner Ensemble. Currently she is working as a doctor in pediatrics in Berlin and is doing further research at Charité Berlin in the field of infant psychiatry. She is also playing clarinet in several ensembles and project orchestras, among others her own wind quintet «aeroflott».
