Anna Trukhina
Anna Trukhina was born in Moscow and started playing the violin at the age of eight. It became clear very soon that her life will be inextricably intertwined with music. After nine years at school, she continued her violin studies at the Gnessin Russian Academy of Music in Moscow, which she graduated from with honours. During her studies at the Academy she also took part in the International Regions Symphony Orchestra (IRO) in Germany and attended master classes in Europe. This experience made her think to move to Europe to continue her education. Now she is studying under Prof. Pieter Daniel at the Folkwang University of arts in Essen, Germany. Since 2016 she is part of the Baltic Sea Philharmonic (BSP) and plays concerts across Europe.
