Les Amateurs Virtuoses ! in Paris
From May 23, 2019 to May 26, 2019
The 24th edition of Les Amateurs virtuoses piano festival took place in Paris from May 23rd to 26th, 2019, and gathered 30 artists under the artistic patronage of pianist Rena Shereshevskaya.
We were lucky to welcome François Chaplin et Jean-Marc Luisada for the first time, to teach masterclasses. The audience was thrilled by both their level of expectation and their sense of humor.
For the second year in a row, the Off festival allowed a few selected pianists the chance to perform on our stage without having had to compete in international competitions for amateur pianists (which is a prerequisite for the In festival).
We would like to express our deepest gratitude to the partners which made this parisian festival possible, in particular:
The Chambre des Notaires for hosting the festival and for the technical facilities it provided us with
Yamahafor bringing two wonderful concert pianos (handcraft series CF and S)
Pianos Nebout & Hamm for bringing a warm-up piano and for letting us rehearse in their showroom
Philomuses for letting us rehearse on its two concert grand pianos
Cabinet Coutot-Roehrig
Mairie de Paris
